Trish Wood talked to Iraq War veteran Garett Reppenhagen about his experiences while serving in Iraq. Ms. Wood has collected a number of testimonies from Iraq War veterans, including his, for her book, What Was Asked of Us: An Oral History of the Iraq War by the Soldiers Who Fought It, published by Little, Brown and Company. Bobby Muller, who served with the U.S. Marines in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969, wrote the introduction to the book and made opening remarks at this event.
