Alex Kershaw talked about his book The Few: The American “Knights of the Air” Who Risked Everything to Fight in the Battle of Britain, published by Da Capo Press. He described the Americans who joined Britain’s Royal Air Force prior to the U.S. entry into World War II. The American pilots defied their own countries neutrality laws and risked their citizenship in order to support the British in battles with the German Luftwaffe. The guest interviewer was World War II reporter Jack Pulwers.

Mr. Pulwers is the author of The Press of Battle: The GI Reporter and the American People, published by Pentland Press and Ivy House Publishing. close
