Panelists talked about the U.S. Supreme Court’s December 4, 2006 hearing on the constitutionality of racial school integration plans in Louisville, Kentucky, and Seattle, Washington. They also focused on Mr. Kahlenberg’s brief for the Century Foundation titled, “A New Way on School Integration.” They also talked about school choice plans, the history and goals of school desegregation, and legal issues before the Supreme Court.
