Officials from the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security spoke to the a press on an indictment of Roy Belfast, Jr. (a.k.a. Charles Taylor, Jr.) by a Florida grand jury for the July 2002 torture of a victim in Monrovia, Liberia. The indictment was the first time someone had been charged under U.S. torture statutes. They also answered questions from reporters. close
