Trevor Paglen and A.C. Thompson talked about their book, Torture Taxi: On the Trail of the CIA’s Rendition Flights, published by Melville House. They talked about the Central Intelligence Agency’s practice of sending suspected terrorists to countries where, the authors argued, they are kept in secret prisons and subjected to torture. They said the CIA uses front companies to hide the real purpose of these rendition flights and discussed how they investigated the story. After their presentation they responded to audience members' questions. close
