An official funeral service was held for former President Gerald Ford in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. The ceremony included tributes from several members. Footage also included the arrival of the casket at Andrews Air Force Base, the motorcade through Washington with a stop at the World War II Memorial, arrival at the Capitol building, the military honor guard ascending the East Front steps, the casket briefly lying in repose at the open doors of the U.S. House Chamber, and official tributes to the former president and his family. close
