Sigmund Freud Peter Kramer talked about his latest book, Sigmund Freud: Inventor of the Modern Mind, published by Eminent Lives. Dr. Kramer, psychiatrist and public radio host, talked about Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis and his contributions and the controversies surrounding them. Among other issues that continue to inform Freud’s legacy, Kramer discussed historians' contentions that Freud inaccurately represented his findings to complement his theories. Kramer described Freud’s contributions in areas such as seduction and dream analysis. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions.
