Zev Chafets talked about his book A Match Made in Heaven: American Jews, Christian Zionists, and One Man’s Exploration of the Weird and Wonderful Judeo-Evangelical Alliance, published by HarperCollins. In his book Mr. Chafets argues that American Jews should embrace Christian Evangelicals, saying that American Jews are influenced by the secular Democratic establishment and therefore misinterpret Evangelical intentions. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions.

A native of Michigan, Zev Chafets moved to Jerusalem shortly after graduating from college. After joining the army and serving in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, he became director of the government press office for then-Prime Minister Menachem Begin, and went on to become a founding editor of the Jerusalem Post Magazine. He is also a former columnist for the New York Daily News and has written other books.
