Zahid Hussain talked about his book Frontline Pakistan: The Struggle with Militant Islam, published by Columbia University Press. The book deals with the conflict between Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s vow to fight terrorism in Pakistan and the links which the Pakistani army and intelligence service retain with jihadists. Mr. Hussain was joined in discussion by Mr. Lieven.
