President Bush spoke to reporters on the fourth anniversary of military operations in Iraq. In his remarks he called for patience as the U.S. entered the fifth year of conflict in the country and criticized lawmakers who advocated a timetable for U.S. withdrawal saying that such efforts to “pack up and go home” would have devastating consequences for American security. He did not answer questions from the reporters. close
