Myrna Blyth talked about the book she co-wrote, How to Raise an American: 1776 Fun and Easy Tools, Tips, and Activities to Help Your Child Love This Country, published by Crown Forum. In the book she instructs parents on how to rear a patriotic child. She suggested discussion topics, trips, books, and movies that will encourage children to celebrate their American heritage and citizenship. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
