Lanny Davis talked about the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, its mission, and the recent reports that its first report to Congress was allegedly edited by Bush administration officials following its approval by the board. Mr. Davis resigned from the board Monday, May 14, 2007, because of the changes to the report and the board’s lack of independence from the administration. Mr. Davis also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
