Linda Bridges talked about the book she co-wrote with John Coyne, Strictly Right: William F. Buckley Jr. and the American Conservative Movement, published by Wiley. She described Buckley’s influence in the modern conservative movement, including the importance of his first book, God and Man at Yale. She detailed how he gained the political and financial support necessary to launch the National Review in 1955. Ms. Bridges responded to audience members' questions.
