Historian Walter Isaacson talked about his book, Einstein: His Life and Universe, published by Simon and Schuster. He described the life of scientist Albert Einstein whose theories in the field of physics changed the conventional thinking at the time and shaped the future. He talked about the personal as well as the professional life of the Noble prize-winning thinker and contended that his family, marriages, and religiosity assist in understanding Einstein’s scientific achievements. The biographer showed many slides of photographs from the book. This is the first Einstein biography that is based in part on unpublished papers that were unsealed in 2006. Mr. Isaacson responded to questions submitted by audience members. close
