Senator Mikulski talked about the priorities of the Democratic majority in Congress. Topics included progress on health care, ethics reform and accountability, and the war in Iraq. She also talked about coordinating with Governor Martin O’Malley and the state’s county leaders to fight for Maryland’s share in implementing the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission decisions, homeland and port security, and higher education. She addressed the residents of Leisure World in their clubhouse auditorium and answered questions following her remarks. close
