They talked about the future of the Hemisphere, institutional developments, labor and economic issues likely to shape the political movements and alliances of the Americas. The panel discussion and questions were moderated by Christopher Sabatini. Thomas Carothers delivered closing remarks.

This event held at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, was to launch the Americas Quarterly-a journal from the Americas Society and Council of the Americas to promote policy analysis and debate on economics, finance, and politics in the region. close
