William Langewiesche talked about his book The Atomic Bazaar: The Rise of the Nuclear Poor, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Mr. Langewiesche talked about the proliferation of nuclear weapons to poorer, more unstable countries and the threat this poses to the international community. Mr. Langewiesche also discussed the role played by Pakistani scientist A.Q. Khan in aiding countries like North Korea and Iran develop their nuclear weapons programs. He responded to questions from members of the audience. close
