Five Democratic presidential candidates spoke at the 8th Annual Hall of Fame Celebration Reception and Dinner. Iowa dignitaries and award winners also spoke. Hall of Fame awards were presented to Roxanne Conlin, Ed Campbell, former Governor Bob Fulton, Cheryll Jones, Dori Rammelsberg-Dvorak, Ken Sagar, Megan Simpson, Phyllis Thede, Warren Yaple, and Megan Simpson.

The event was held at the Crowne Plaza Five Seasons Hotel in Cedar Rapids. Iowa is expected to hold the nation’s first presidential caucus in January 2008. close
