Secretary Jackson talked about the challenges the nation faces in such areas as predatory lending, housing discrimination, corrections in the housing market, and the need to rebuild the Gulf Coast that was ravished by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In addition, he proposed new solutions for modernizing the Federal Housing Administration and plans to increase housing counseling. He responded to questions submitted by audience members. close
