Seth Shulman talked about his book The Telephone Gambit: Chasing Alexander Graham Bell’s Secrets, published by W. W. Norton. In his book science and technology journalist and author Seth Shulman recounts the invention of the telephone and contends that Alexander Graham Bell stole the idea for the phone from Elisha Gray. Mr. Shulman presents evidence that argues that Mr. Bell copied a caveat to a patent that Mr. Gray had formerly filed during his research on transmitting multiple telegrams at the same time. He answered questions from members of the audience. close
