Tom Segev talked about his book 1967: Israel, the War, and the Year that Transformed the Middle East, published by Metropolitan Books. June 5th marked the 40th anniversary of the start of the June 1967 War (also known as the Six-Day War) between Israel and three of its neighbors - Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Tom Segev looks at the background and events that influenced the Israeli government in the lead-up to its attack on Egypt. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
