A public meeting was held of the independent review panel established by Governor Timothy Kaine to review the circumstances surrounding the tragedy on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg on April 16, 2007, when a student killed 32 students and professors and wounded more before committing suicide.
