The House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia and the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade held a joint hearing on black market nuclear proliferation, focusing on the activities of Pakistani scientist A.Q. Kahn. Kahn’s network sold nuclear weapons technology to North Korea, Libya, Iran and perhaps other nations.
