Caricaturing a Nation
“Caricaturing A Nation: Americans and Muslims Draw Each Other” was an event at the 50th Anniversary Convention of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists.
Moderated by Mike Thompson, the panelists talked about the national and ethnic problems of editorial cartoons. The focus was on cartoons by Americans and by Muslims of each other, including ethnic stereotypes and violent reactions. After their presentations they responded to audience members' questions.
