Stanley Weintraub talked about his book, 15 Stars: Eisenhower, MacArthur, Marshall - Three Generals Who Saved the American Century, published by Free Press. In his book, military historian Weintraub chronicled the lives of these three five-star generals. He recounted the interconnected relationships of the three military leaders and dissected their tactical decisions in their respective theaters of battle during World War II. The guest interviewer was Max Boot.

Professor Weintraub is the author of over 40 books, including Silent Night: The Story of the World War I Christmas Truce and MacArthur’s War.

Max Boot was formerly editorial page editor at The Wall Street Journal and is the author of several books, including The Savage Wars of Peace: Small Wars and the Rise of American Power. close
