Women talked about their experiences as feminists and their perspectives of their influence on society. Angie Cruz talked about how she was empowered to strive for her true goals and began her writing career. Jewell Jackson McCabe talked about the history and politics of the women’s movement. Charon Asetoyer talked about the struggles of Native Americans, including environmental issues such as stopping mining and global warming. She focused on government restrictions on tribal rights and law enforcement jurisdictions in areas such as sexual assault. Kim Gandy focused on public perceptions and gender issues in the news. Each spoke separately, without any questions.
