The Housing and Community Opportunity Subcommittee of the House Financial Services Committee held a hearing on HR 920, the Multiple Peril Insurance Act of 2007. The legislation would amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to provide for the national flood insurance program to make available multi-peril coverage for damage resulting from either windstorms or floods. close
