Ms. Williams spoke about the book she co-wrote with Robert Whitcomb, Cape Wind: Money, Celebrity, Class, Politics, and the Battle for Our Energy Future on Nantucket Sound, published by PublicAffairs. Cape Wind was a project to build wind farms off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The book chronicled the attempts of wealthy Cape Cod residents -- backed by Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) and his nephew, environmental activist Robert Kennedy Jr. -- to stop the project. Following her remarks she answered questions from members of the audience. close
