Walled: Israeli Society at an Impasse Sylvain Cypel, author of Walled: Israeli Society at an Impasse, talked about the history of Israeli-Palestinian relations. Sylvain Cypel was a senior editor at Le Monde. He lived in Jerusalem for 12 years and then moved to Paris. He attended the recent Mideast conference that took place in Annapolis, Maryland, at the U.S. Naval Academy. He discussed past conferences such as Oslo and Camp David and compared them all to the current situation. He answered questions from the audience.
