This week Road to the White House featured:
On July 17 a C-SPAN crew followed Democratic presidential candidate former Senator John Edwards on part of his tour highlighting Americans who live in poverty. Among the stops were the home of a woman who was a victim of predatory lending practices in Cleveland, Ohio; a shelter for abused women in Youngstown, Ohio; and a vocational training center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
On July 13 former President Bill Clinton campaigned with his wife Democratic presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire. It was the first time he campaigned for her in the state since she started running for president. A C-SPAN video journalist was on the press bus for the tour. close
