Telephone lines were open for viewer comments about the debate among candidates for the 2008 Democratic nomination which had just concluded at the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The debate was aired live on CNN. The questions used by the debate were videos submitted by the public to YouTube and selected by CNN. Viewers commented on this new format for debates as well as the performances of the candidates. Video clips of the debate were shown. close
