The guests talked about the C-SPAN series, “Presidential Libraries: History Uncovered,” which begins the next Friday, September 7, 2007, and runs through November 30. The 12-week series airs live from the 12 presidential libraries spanning Herbert Hoover to Bill Clinton. Video clips were shown as examples of some never- or rarely-seen film, video, private home movies, and sound recordings collected from inside the libraries' vaults. Allen Weinstein participated by remote video. He talked about the National Archives' Presidential Libraries and their cooperation in presenting the series. They all responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
