The House Judiciary Committee met to consider a resolution and report recommending to the House of Representatives that former White House Counsel Harriett Miers and White House Chief of Staff John Bolten be cited for contempt of Congress for their refusal to comply with subpoenas issued in the investigation of the dismissal of U.S. attorneys. The committee voted to send the report to the House.
