He described the internal and external challenges facing China as it moves into the 21st century. He also discussed the impact of China’s growth and politics on the rest of the world. He said that the U.S. has lost over 2 million manufacturing jobs to China, and that China gains unfair competitive advantage over the U.S. and Europe through currency manipulation, counterfeiting, and defective products. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions.
