Canyon County, Idaho v. Sygenta Seeds Oral Argument
Canyon County, Idaho, appealed the district court’s dismissal in favor of Sygenta Seeds, Inc. Canyon County officials allege that the county suffered as a result of the defendants' employment of large numbers of illegal immigrants. The county seeks reimbursement for millions of dollars in health care and criminal justice services it alleges it has spent on the illegal immigrants employed by the defendants in violation of federal law.
