Bruce Barry talked about his book Speechless: The Erosion of Free Expression in the American Workplace, published by Berrett-Koehler Publishers. In his book Mr. Barry explained why employers are legally entitled to suppress free speech in the workplace. He also advocated for changes in the law and management practice in order to allow greater freedom of expression, which he said was necessary in a healthy democracy. Mr. Barry responded to questions from the audience. close
