William Neukom, the new president of the American Bar Association, spoke on “Advancing the Rule of Law in the U.S. and Abroad.” In his remarks he spoke about various areas of research and programs being developed to foster justice in a civil society through the American Bar Association’s justice project. Among the topics he addressed were the election of members of the judiciary, the role of public education on legal issues, and improving access to civil justice. Ms. Sullivan moderated questions from the audience. close
