Senator John W. Warner talked about his recent trip to Iraq and the future U.S. military commitment to the region. In his remarks he called on President Bush to develop a withdraw plan that would begin with a commitment to withdraw approximately 5,000 troops by Christmas. He noted, however, that he opposed congressional deadlines fro troop withdrawal. Following his remarks he answered questions from the reporters. close
