The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and China’s General Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) held the second biennial safety summit to discuss agreements made previously as well as a working plan for the next two years regarding product safety. Other topics of the summit included steps that manufacturers, retailers and importers can take to increase the rate of compliance of products that they design, purchase, and sell and a detailed explanation of U.S. government expectations for importers and retailers. close
