British Liberal Democrat Leader Menzies Campbell spoke to party members at the annual party conference in Brighton, England. He talked about his party’s opposition to the war in Iraq and stressed the importance of the “five freedoms.” Mr. Campbell became leader of the Liberal Democrat Party in March 2006, following the resignation of Charles Kennedy. It is the third largest political party in the U.K.
