Nicaraguan President Speech
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega was a leader of the Sandinista Revolution and served as president of Nicaragua from 1985-90. He was re-elected president November 2006.
President Ortega addressed the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. He criticized global capitalism and U.S. policy, and said that Iran and North Korea should have the right to develop nuclear technology.
