Bing West talked about alternatives to U.S. policy in Iraq. He has made three trips to Iraq during the year - 14 since the beginning of military action - to observe U.S. military action. There, he spoke with military officials and traveled across the region. In July 2007 he testified in front of the House Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on Alternatives for Iraq’s Future.
