Gary Scott talked about the report recently released by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) about a study on colleges' effectiveness in teaching civics, finding that college seniors know little about the history of America. The survey found that college students know less about America as seniors than as freshmen. Answers to some of the questions from ISI’s civics quiz were given. The questions were first posed in the previous segment. Mr. Scott responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
