Senator Bond spoke about U.S. investments in Chinese telecommunications and information companies, potential threats to national security from companies doing business with both Chinese companies and the Department of Defense, buyouts and mergers between U.S. and foreign companies, and federal regulation of foreign investments. Following his remarks a panel talked about potential threats to U.S. national security by companies with interests in both China and U.S. information systems, as well as possible actions to prevent cyber attacks on critical defense information infrastructure. close
