Garry Wills talked about his book Head and Heart: American Christianities, published by Penguin Press. In his book he explores Christianity’s place in American life across the country’s history and contends that there is a cyclical pattern to how religion is received in the country. Mr. Wills also cites the separation of church and state as a reason why religion has continued to expand. The Pulitzer prize-winning author was interviewd by the Very Rev. Alan Jones, dean of Grace Cathedral, at a special evening Forum. He also responded to questions from members of the audience. close
