Cal Thomas and Bob Beckel talked about their book Common Ground: How to Stop the Partisan War That Is Destroying America, published that day by William Morrow. The book release party was held at the home of Esther Coopersmith. The authors chatted with guests and signed books as well as giving a brief talk about the book. The book was inspired by their semi-monthly USA Today column, “Common Ground,” in which conservative Cal Thomas and liberal Bob Beckel urge politicians of both parties to get beyond partisanship, restore civility, and move the country forward. close
