Touch and Go: A Memoir
Studs Terkel was born in May of 1912, three weeks after the Titanic sank. He is the author of 12 books of oral history including, Hard Times, Working, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Good War. He was the host of a pioneering Chicago television show in the 1950's called “Studs Place” and a radio host for WFMT in Chicago for 50 years.
