Michael Hoyt was a co-editor of the book. Ali Fadhil, a documentary producer, and journalists Deborah Amos (NPR), Anne Barnard (New York Times/Boston Globe), and Elizabeth Palmer (CBS) were contributors to the book.

A roundtable discussion was held about the war in Iraq and what it was like for journalists to cover it. Topics included how the situation and atmosphere changed over time. Ms. Amos moderated the discussion. Mr. Hoyt read excerpts from the book. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience.
