Paul Krugman talked about his book The Conscience of a Liberal, published by W.W. Norton. In his book he argues that America’s post-war middle-class society was not the product of a free-market economy but was created by the policies of the Roosevelt administration of strengthening labor unions and taxing the rich to redistribute wealth. Mr. Krugman teaches international affairs and economics at Princeton University. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
