Erika Falk talked about her book Women for President: Media Bias in Eight Campaigns. She examined the campaigns of eight women who have run for president through 2004 and compared them with the campaigns of their male opponents. She said that the media has demonstrated gender bias in covering women candidates since the first woman ran for president of the United States in 1872.
